Springs

Springs are used in products across many different industries. Springs are often made from hardened steel, but some non-ferrous metals are also used including phosphor bronze and titanium to resist corrosion. Springs made for carrying electrical current are often made from beryllium copper. Small springs can be wound from pre-hardened metal, while larger ones are made from annealed steel and hardened after fabrication. SRI has partnerships with manufacturers throughout the globe that produce high-quality, low-cost springs.
